Everything you might want to know before you tailor your first CV.
No. CVBoostr only ever uses what's already in your CV. It rephrases, reorders and strengthens your real content and aligns it with the job's language — but it never adds skills, employers, dates, qualifications or achievements you didn't provide. Anything the job wants that your CV can't evidence is listed separately as a suggestion, not inserted.
Two tailored CV versions (an ATS-optimised one and a polished recruiter-friendly one), a skills evidence map, a keyword report, before/after scores across several categories, and an honest eligibility check that shows where you match and where the gaps are. You can optionally add a tailored cover letter and LinkedIn tips.
Both versions use clean, parser-friendly structure and relevant keywords drawn from your real experience. The ATS-optimised version is intentionally conservative for online application portals, while the recruiter-friendly version is still ATS-safe but reads more like a polished human-written CV.
You can upload your CV as PDF, DOCX or TXT, or simply paste the text. You can fetch a job advert from its URL too. Finished CVs export to DOCX, PDF or TXT, or you can email a copy to yourself.
Each tailored analysis uses one credit. Free accounts include a monthly allotment to get started, and paid plans add more credits each month. Credits refresh to your plan's monthly amount on each renewal — they don't stack up indefinitely.
There's a Free plan to try CVBoostr, plus Pro and Premium monthly subscriptions that include more credits and extras like priority generation. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel anytime from Settings → Plans & credits.
Yes. Your CV and analyses are tied to your account. You can export everything we hold about you or permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Privacy tab in Settings.
Yes. Save a master CV once and reuse it for every job you target, so you don't have to paste or upload it each time. You can keep more than one and pick a default.
CVBoostr lets you choose UK or US English spelling and a tone that suits the role and industry, so the wording matches the market you're applying in.
No tool can promise that. CVBoostr is built to present your genuine experience as clearly and competitively as possible for a specific role — and to be honest with you about where you stand, so you can focus on the right opportunities.
